Pomperaug Regional School District 15, in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disability Act of 1990, states that it is the policy of Pomperaug Regional School District 15 that no person shall, on the basis of race color, religion, age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, disability, pregnancy, genetic information, gender identity or expression, or any other non-job related characteristic protected by state or federal law, except in the case of a bona fide occupational qualification, in admission to, access to, treatment in, or employment in its programs and activities for which the Board is responsible or for which it receives financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Education.
